Zechariah 6/What is the Kingdom? - Part I

Please note that for Saturday, July 25th we did not study Zechariah 6, we studied the topic “What is the Kingdom?” Looking at Genesis 1-6 in order to understand HaShem and how he runs things and how he interacts with his subjects in the Kingdom good and bad. Also how HaShem set up the worship for all of mankind before the Torah was introduced showing continuity.

Study for Saturday: Zechariah 6

This chapter shows the set up of the governance in the Millennial kingdom and how there will be two thrones one for the King and the other for the Cohen Hagodol (High Priest) which the Meshiach will sit on, our King Yeshua.

Preparation Homework for Zechariah 6:

Read and Understand: Review Zechariah Chapters 3 and 4

Please be diligent to write a quick 1 or 2 lined summary outlining the chapter for your own notes and prepare that for the class.

Personal Growth Homework:

  1. Write down three concepts that always stick out to you when you read the word no matter if you’re reading in the Prophets, the Torah, or the Gospels.

  2. Write down 2 things that people say about you, about what you do, or the type of person you are. These random people should be in agreement, saying the same thing. Let’s see what gifts the Lord has given you that you have been a blessing to other people.

  3. Milestones - Every project has major milestones which are big events that you plan out in a project that are focus points to attain in your schedule. HaShem has the same, you will notice in the scripture that HaShem mentions several ‘milestones’ that he points your attention to. An example is bringing the Israelites out of Egypt. This one is so big that HaShem even has a holiday dedicated to it besides having his prophets and judges speak on it.

Look at the scripture and see if you can outline some of these milestones, events that HaShem directs our attention to. These milestones will help us with the understanding of the Millennial Kingdom.
