Study for Saturday: Titus 1

First requirement before we get this train rolling is that you have to do your best to join our Jewish Brothers in the way they think. If you’re reading Titus like you are sitting in America with America Ideology well then good luck with trying to understand what Paul (a trained Pharisee), is writing to Titus.

Drop your storybook Paul quoting scripture memories and let’s look at what Paul is instructing here. Please note that the title of this book is called Paul’s Epistle to Paul or in other words Paul’s letter to Titus. It does not say Paul’s Letter to Insert Name Here.

Let’s dig in this Chapter and get the set up of this letter, and also by the end of this lesson we should know what it means to say ‘… for filthy lucre’s sake’ (KJV).
